Duration: 12-Month Contract (Extension Potential)
We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join the PMO organization, responsible for leading and delivering complex technology initiatives across the enterprise. This role will drive end-to-end project lifecycle execution, ensuring alignment between business objectives and strategic IT solutions.
This is a high-impact role requiring strong leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to influence stakeholders while managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead the full project lifecycle across multiple IT initiatives, from project definition through implementation and delivery
- Drive execution of enterprise technology strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and PMO standards
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver scalable solutions
- Coordinate resources, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes
- Conduct system audits and performance evaluations to validate the effectiveness and quality of implemented solutions
- Direct technology research efforts, evaluating trends and recommending innovative solutions to support evolving business needs
- Establish and enforce IT governance, policies, and procedures to maintain operational efficiency and compliance
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity controls to protect enterprise assets
- Manage financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring projects remain within scope and cost targets
- Maintain adherence to PMO standards, quality benchmarks, and organizational best practices
- Continuously stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends, applying insights to improve delivery and performance
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in IT project or program management within enterprise environments
- Proven experience managing multiple complex, cross-functional technology projects simultaneously
- Hands-on experience within the IT industry, including exposure to development teams and customer-facing environments
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and IT controls
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a Portfolio Management Office (PMO) or structured governance environment
- Background supporting enterprise-level digital transformation or IT modernization initiatives
- Familiarity with financial planning and budget management within IT organizations
- Strong ability to translate strategic vision into actionable delivery plans
- Proven track record of driving on-time, on-budget project execution
- Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders, including leadership
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement
