We are seeking a mid-to-senior Red Hat Linux Administrator to support a critical data platform environment. This role focuses on application-level administration, security remediation, and system stability. - Manage application-level tasks including installations, hot fixes, patching, and security model changes.
- Handle log space management and ensure system stability for data platform workloads.
- Develop detailed execution instructions and precise tickets for a separate infrastructure team.
- Perform system patching, security vulnerability remediation, and ensure compliance with configuration standards.

- Serve as a subject matter expert for the RHEL environment, taking ownership of its maintenance and performance.
- Partner with ETL, application, and business teams to support data delivery needs.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux systems administration, with a preference for Red Hat (RHEL).

- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production systems and resolve incidents effectively.
- Experience writing clear technical instructions for other technical teams.
- Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Automic Applications Manager, or IBM Netezza / PureData.
