Duration: 12-month contract (potential extension/conversion)
Work Location: Hybrid (Downtown Toronto)
- Tuesday onsite + 2nd Friday of the month
Hours: 37.5 hr/week; Monday–Friday
- Infrastructure Operations & Networks (ION) within Technology Operations
- Supports enterprise scheduling and file transfer services across the organization
- Focused on platform upgrades, engineering standards, and L3 support for enterprise scheduling tools
We are seeking a Senior Systems Consultant to support enterprise scheduling services for our client. This role is heavily focused on AutoSys engineering, upgrades, and platform support, alongside scripting and infrastructure support across Windows/Linux environments.
You will play a key role in ongoing AutoSys platform upgrades (v11 → v12 → v24), as well as design, configuration, and support of enterprise scheduling and file transfer solutions.
• Lead design, configuration, and support of enterprise scheduling tools (AutoSys)
• Support major platform upgrades and modernization initiatives
• Provide L3 production support and troubleshoot scheduling-related incidents
• Package, script, and deploy solutions provided by vendors (e.g., Broadcom)
• Work across Windows and Linux environments to support scheduling agents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices
• Contribute to governance, change management, and enterprise standards
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, backlog refinement, etc.)
• Support production implementations (occasional Sunday support may be required)
• Drive continuous improvement of scheduling processes and tooling
• Strong experience with AutoSys (or comparable enterprise scheduling tools)
• Experience with enterprise schedulers (e.g., Control-M, IBM Workload Scheduler)
• Solid Linux and/or Windows server experience
• Hands-on shell scripting experience
• Experience supporting enterprise environments (change management, governance)
• Ability to provide support and troubleshoot production issues
• Strong communication and ability to work cross-functionally
• Comfortable working in Agile environments
• Experience with AutoSys upgrades (highly preferred)
• Knowledge of SecureTransport or file transfer tools
• Experience with ServiceNow, Ansible, Python, Excel, Access
• Exposure to Azure environments
• Prior experience in large enterprise or financial services environments
• Takes initiative and operates with ownership mentality
• Strong team player with ability to work independently
• Comfortable in fast-paced, project-driven environments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities
• Backfill for parental leave with strong potential for extension
• Preference for candidates able to work in-person with the team (not fully remote)
Apex pay scales are determined by role, experience, skill set, and location. For this position, the estimated hourly range is provided below as a guideline:

• Hourly Range: ~$55–$60/hr
