Job Title: Business Execution Consultant 4 / Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst
Location: Chandler, AZ / Charlotte, NC / Minneapolis, MN – Hybrid
Contract Length: 18mo (conversion possible)
Pay Rate: $60 - $65
- 5+ years of technology and/or Business Execution experience with SAM/ITAM exposure
- Strong experience with software license compliance, contract analysis, and data analysis
- Experience using tools such as ServiceNow and Microsoft Excel for data reconciliation and reporting
- Certification in Software Asset Management (CSAM) or similar
- Experience using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
- Experience supporting software audits and compliance readiness
- Experience managing medium-scale technology initiatives
- Strong stakeholder communication skills, including senior leadership engagement
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution. Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Business Execution challenges requiring evaluation of multiple factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex situations requiring solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
- Perform software license compliance analysis and apply licensing rules
- Conduct license reconciliations across vendors and systems
- Identify over-deployment or under-utilization risks and recommend remediation
- Analyze software contracts and entitlement agreements
- Interpret license terms, restrictions, and compliance obligations
- Track contract deliverables such as renewals and certifications
- Research and validate software asset data across inventory and entitlement systems
- Troubleshoot data quality issues and improve data accuracy
- Maintain software catalog and lifecycle tracking
- Utilize ServiceNow and workflow tools to manage SAM/SLC processes
- Support reconciliation workflows and compliance reporting activities
- Maintain documentation and audit trails
- Support internal and external audits and certification reviews
- Prepare audit documentation and validate compliance positions
- Reduce risk exposure through accurate compliance reporting
- Identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings
- Analyze usage trends to recommend license adjustments
- Support financial efficiency in software spend
- Work with cross-functional teams including technology, procurement, and finance
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Influence decisions across organizational levels
