Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
· 7+ years of full-time experience with ETL / MDM tools and processes
· 7+ years of experience in Informatica MDM 10.x versions with development skills in ETL with IICS/IDQ
· 3+ years of experience in multiple areas of MDM implementations including Data
· Profiling, metadata acquisition, data migration, validation, reject processing and pre-landing processing
· 3+ years of Informatica MDM (Hub and IDD/Entity 330)
· 3+ years of expertise in Informatica MDM Hub Match and Merge rules, batch jobs and batch groups.
· 3+ years of experience in configuring Entity base objects, Entity Types, Relationship base objects, Relationship Types and Profiles using Hierarchy tool
· Experience in building solution architecture, data pipelines and technical workflows.
· Must have hands-on experience across the various phases of a typical MDM solution - data profiling, data integration, validation, cleansing, standardization, matching, consolidation etc.
· Proven experience in working with various MSM components and configuring MDM solutions.
· Strong understanding of Data Integration, Data Quality, Data Architecture and Master Data Management, Project Life Cycle phases, best practices, and processes
· Good analyzing & troubleshooting skills and make recommendations for business needs and conflict remediation
· Good communication skills and networking skills to interface and coordinate with technical and non-technical teams both internal/external
Responsibilities:
· Clean and scrub data from various sources to implement MDM information into IDQ, and integrate golden records into EDW, Dimension, and FACT tables.
· Designing & implementing MDM strategies, policies, and procedures
· Managing and governing master data across the organization to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
· Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to establish data standards and ensure adherence to data policies. Understanding of strategic data and IT solutions.
· Utilize your expertise in Informatica MDM (Profiling and Mastering) and MDM Hub Configuration to configure and customize the MDM solution.
· Doing independent research, analyzing, and present capabilities and alignment with current solution.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of experience in Informatica suite of products
· Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Warehousing, Data Governance, and Data Quality principles.
· Experience working with Informatica MDM and Governance tools in an enterprise environment.
· Hands-on experience collaborating with data engineering teams to manage large-scale data projects.
· Proficient and experience to work in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
· Strong ability to translate complex data requirements into clear business cases and product features.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align business and technical teams.
