Job Description:
Location: Westlake, Texas (Remote)
In this role, you will help build out a new charitable component for an investment management application, intended to make donating easier for users. This is a UI-heavy full-stack position (70% front-end, 30% back-end). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building pages from scratch using Angular, HTML, and CSS.
- Work on an innovative application through all phases of software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
- Function as a member of a high-performing Agile team to help drive the next-generation user experience for web applications.
- Act as a strong, hands-on technical member of the team.
- Produce clean, unit-tested, and refactored code.
- Perform code reviews within the team.
- Collaborate with other developers and co-workers to produce high-quality, timely work.
- Uphold and contribute to SDLC standard methodologies.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
Experience: Experience in SCRUM, SAFe, or other agile development processes is required.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AngularJS, Angular, Javascript, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Java, and Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with building RESTful Web Services and APIs.
- Ability to conceptualize Object-Oriented design and engineering design patterns.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as NGRX and RXJS.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate JPA.
- Experience with SASS/SCSS for the compilation of style sheets.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux environments.
- Commitment to continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Focus on accessibility using a screen reader and other tools.
- Experience with database systems, including both relational and NoSQL.
