Senior Change Management Lead

Location: Mississauga (Hybrid)

Type: Contract with opportunity for extension or conversion

Position Summary

The Senior Change Management Lead is responsible for leading end-to-end change management efforts across enterprise transformation initiatives. This role ensures successful adoption of new systems, processes, and ways of working by developing and executing structured change strategies that improve performance, employee experience, and overall business outcomes.

The position operates as a senior individual contributor, providing strategic and hands-on leadership across the full change lifecycle, including impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption measurement, while influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities
Change Strategy & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end change management strategy development and execution aligned to enterprise program roadmaps
  • Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness evaluations to identify risks and mitigation plans
  • Drive adoption and sustained behavioral change across large-scale transformation initiatives
Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Design and deliver clear, structured communication strategies that articulate the purpose, benefits, and impacts of change
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to build alignment, transparency, and commitment
  • Establish and manage change champion networks and feedback loops to reinforce adoption
Training & Enablement
  • Develop and deliver role-based training programs and enablement materials to support adoption of new systems and processes
  • Support go-live readiness and transition to business-as-usual through structured training and knowledge transfer models
Adoption Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Define, track, and analyze adoption and performance metrics to assess effectiveness of change initiatives
  • Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement across communications, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Operations, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and other stakeholders to embed change management into program delivery
  • Align change activities with release cycles, business priorities, and transformation timelines
Strategic Contribution
  • Contribute to enterprise change management practices, frameworks, and standards
  • Support continuous improvement of change capabilities and organizational transformation maturity
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience leading change management initiatives within enterprise-scale transformations
  • Proven experience supporting platform implementations such as ERP, eProcurement, ordering systems, or customer-facing portals
  • Strong experience developing and executing change strategies across communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and resistance management
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in regulated or operationally complex environments (e.g., fleet, automotive, logistics, financial services)
  • Professional certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) or equivalent experience
  • Experience working on large-scale, enterprise-wide transformation programs
  • Background in highly matrixed organizations with cross-functional delivery models
