Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. This role requires strong expertise in backend development, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native technologies, with the ability to contribute across the full stack. You will collaborate with business analysts, infrastructure teams, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality solutions while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Serve as a technical expert for critical enterprise applications.
- Partner with Business Systems Analysts to ensure technical designs meet functional requirements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to identify, deploy, and optimize hosting environments.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services.
- Create and execute unit tests to ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Research, evaluate, and implement technology solutions aligned with organizational standards.
- Contribute to application architecture, component design, development, and functional testing.
- Support development, QA, troubleshooting, and production support activities.
- Promote and enhance engineering best practices, including CI/CD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Integrate risk management and control processes into daily responsibilities, proactively identifying and escalating issues when appropriate.
- Apply appropriate software development methodologies based on project requirements.
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong backend engineering expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle or other relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
- Proven experience building distributed, event-driven, or cloud-native applications.
- Experience developing front-end applications using Angular.
- Ability to work across the full technology stack, contributing primarily to backend and messaging-driven solutions while supporting front-end development as needed.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Commitment to software quality, automation, and continuous improvement.
