Job Description:

Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Contract Length: 8 Months

Location: Remote (Preference for candidates based in British Columbia)

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a complex cloud-based data archiving and legacy system decommissioning initiative within a healthcare environment. This role will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, ensuring successful migration of enterprise data to a secure cloud platform and enabling the retirement of legacy systems.

• Lead full lifecycle project delivery including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and resources to ensure successful outcomes
• Act as the primary point of contact across business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver data migration and archiving initiatives
• Develop and maintain core project documentation (charter, implementation plan, budget, reporting, closure documentation)
• Provide regular status updates and executive reporting to stakeholders and sponsors
• Identify risks and issues, and proactively implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, standards, and best practices
• Facilitate team and stakeholder meetings, driving alignment and progress

• 8+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in large-scale enterprise environments
• Proven experience delivering cloud-based projects, ideally involving AWS
• Strong experience with data migration, system archiving, or legacy system decommissioning
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and vendors in a complex environment
• Strong governance, documentation, and reporting experience
• Experience working in healthcare or other regulated environments
• Familiarity with enterprise data modernization or digital transformation initiatives
