Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Payrate: $70.00 - $76.39/hr

 

Role Overview

This position is for a Lead Product Owner within the Treasury Payments data team. The role involves supporting technical delivery and Agile execution within the banking domain, with a focus on data technology solutions and requirements design. The individual will manage the program backlog, identify customer needs, and work with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the program backlog and prioritize Epics/Features.
  • Identify customer needs and document requirements and features.
  • Collaborate with the design team on solution architecture and provide business support.
  • Support the feature team in collaboration with the Product Owner.
  • Maintain Program Increment (PI) objectives and map them to iteration goals.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for banking and data technology initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into actionable specifications for technical delivery teams.
  • Create and maintain JIRA boards, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile principles and participate in ceremonies such as PI Planning and Sprint Reviews.
  • Perform data analysis and validation.
Required Qualifications (Must have)

Experience: Candidates must have over 5 years of domain expertise in Treasury Products, including DDA, Client Liquidity, Payments, Receivables, Billing, and Trade Finance. Strong experience supporting technical delivery in an Agile methodology, preferably Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), is required.

 

Technical Skills: Proficient with Agile tools such as Jira, eliciting business requirements, reviewing process flows, and developing technical/system flows. Must be comfortable reviewing technical designs and have a deep understanding of Master Data Management principles and applications.

 

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Confluence for documentation.
  • Experience with SQL, data modeling, and metadata management.
  • Knowledge of requirements analysis and design methodologies.
  • Developed analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.
