Job Description:
Location: Fully remote anywhere in the US.

6-month contract with possibility to extend or convert
This role focuses on developing and operationalizing data pipelines to make data available for reports and advanced analytics. As part of an agile scrum team, you will contribute to a key business initiative involving the migration of legacy systems to a consolidated, configurable application framework. This position is centered on the extraction, preparation, and delivery of data.
- Design and implement standardized data management procedures for data staging, ingestion, preparation, provisioning, and destruction.
- Develop, test, and maintain architectures using various programming languages and tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain real-time processing applications and data pipelines.
- Ensure the quality of technical solutions as data moves across environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality, including automating tasks.
- Perform daily Git operations such as commits, pushes, pulls, and branching.
- Write clear merge request descriptions with context and testing notes.
- Configure new plans onto the standardized platform.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science is required, or equivalent experience.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related experience is required.
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience with SQL, including writing multi-table joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
- Experience with Big Data processing, data manipulation, and data mining.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience working in a production cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to diagnose system issues, perform data validation, and conduct quality assurance testing.
- Experience with Teradata, including specific syntax like QUALIFY, SAMPLE, and DATE arithmetic.
- Proficiency with source code repositories like Git, including resolving merge conflicts and applying branching strategies.
- Healthcare experience.
