Position Summary

We are seeking a QA Analyst III to support the CSG Billing Automation team with a primary focus on Salesforce Sales Cloud / CPQ-driven order and billing testing. This role will serve as a key onshore testing resource responsible for validating complex business workflows across the order-through-billing lifecycle, ensuring quality, traceability, and scalability of testing processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and integration testing experience within Salesforce Sales Cloud and CPQ environments, a solid understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to coordinate effectively with offshore delivery teams, developers, business stakeholders, and adjacent testing groups. Experience with CSG Billing is highly preferred.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, execute, and maintain test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases for Salesforce Sales Cloud / CPQ and downstream billing-related processes.
  • Validate end-to-end order-through-billing workflows, ensuring orders are processed accurately and reflected correctly in associated systems.
  • Identify, document, track, and retest software defects through resolution.
  • Partner closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA teams to resolve issues and improve quality outcomes.
  • Support testing for high-volume / large-batch order scenarios, with a focus on improving confidence in process scalability and operational readiness.
  • Review requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional designs to ensure complete and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Create and maintain detailed test evidence, defect documentation, execution reporting, and traceability artifacts.
  • Coach or guide team members on testing tools, test execution discipline, reporting standards, and continuous process improvement.
  • Coordinate with offshore QA resources to distribute test execution, clarify scope, and maintain quality standards across the delivery team.
  • Participate in functional, integration, regression, and UAT support activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • 5–10 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud solutions.
  • Experience testing Salesforce CPQ workflows, especially around order capture, product configuration, pricing, and downstream handoffs.
  • Solid understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
  • Experience creating and executing functional, integration, and regression test cases.
  • Strong defect identification, root-cause collaboration, and retesting skills.
  • Experience working in a complex enterprise environment with multiple integrated systems.
  • Ability to work effectively with onshore and offshore teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings clearly and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CSG Billing or related billing platforms.
  • Background supporting order management, billing, activation, or telecom-related business processes.
  • Experience testing high-volume or batch transaction flows.
  • Familiarity with environments where testing spans Salesforce, activation, and billing systems.
  • Experience contributing to or coordinating within a global QA delivery model.
  • Exposure to test automation concepts, test tooling, or simulation-based testing approaches.
  • Prior experience in communications, telecom, cable, or large enterprise service environments.
