Global Asset Management institutional execution is the process by which asset managers carry out large-scale investment transactions on behalf of institutional clients. This involves optimizing trade strategies, ensuring best pricing, minimizing market impact, and adhering to regulatory requirements to achieve efficient and secure execution of investment decisions.
Job Description: We are looking for Business Systems Analyst focusing on global asset management and investment book of record (IBOR) expertise.
•Role focus and expertise: The position requires a Senior Business Systems Analyst with deep knowledge of global asset management, particularly IBOR, portfolio management, and various asset classes including equities, fixed income, FX, and money market instruments. The role bridges technology and business operations to drive innovative asset management strategies.
•Key responsibilities: Responsibilities include gathering and documenting complex business requirements, designing client-focused solutions, and leading project implementation as a subject matter expert while mentoring technology and project teams.
•Required skills and experience: Candidates should have extensive experience with investment product lifecycles, trading instruments, portfolio strategies, and risk calculations. Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Databricks are expected, with familiarity in Python and VBA considered a plus. Agile methodology experience and strong communication skills are also important.

Must-Have SkillsBusiness analytic skills on understanding complex business process/challenges, requirements gathering, design tactical & strategic solutions, understanding SDLC and have work with agile development teams on deliver solution to production environment.
Work with Business to create test case and depends on resources, may require executing on test case or work with QA to execute/automate the test case.

Global Asset Management/Wealth/Capital Market experience, understanding trade life cycle and how different system connect to each other’s.
Demonstrate experience on at least 1 asset class

Job Responsibilities:
• Works with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
• Gathers requirements from business units and translates those to programmers and developers.
• Prepares cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
• Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
• Supports one or more highly complex business processes.
• Works on multiple projects as a project team member.
• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.
• Provide managerial oversight to business analysis activities for a team in order to advance initiatives and ensure project success.
• Provide management and planning for the Supplier team.
• Ensure that Supplier Personnel deliver analysis of complex business/function information and provide recommendations/proposals.
• Ensure the quality of the output of Supplier team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages in order to comprehend reading code and basic functions.
• Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
•Ability to effectively manage a team of individuals.
• Bachelors or equivalent degree in related field.
• Meeting facilitation experience.
• Extensive experience with requirements analysis, including Use Case analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of business process modeling and workflow analysis.
• Knowledge of the system development lifecycle, application delivery and implementation.
• Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines.
• Ability to solve technical problems/ processes and understand complex details.
• Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality technical solutions.
• A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their systems knowledge level.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions.
• 10+ years experience required.
