Technology Support Specialist (Onsite)


Concord, CA | Contract


Pay Rate: $30.00/hr

Schedule: 8 hours/day, onsite


About the Role

We're looking for a Technology Support Specialist to provide hands-on IT support across hospital and clinic environments for a major healthcare system. This role is part of a Windows 11 deployment initiative and broader infrastructure support effort, working directly with end users, clinical staff, and internal IT teams.


What You'll Do

Core Support

  • Deliver onsite "boots on the ground" support across hardware, software, and applications
  • Resolve incidents (break/fix) and fulfill service requests
  • Handle device deployments, upgrades, and lifecycle management

Project Work

  • Support the Windows 11 rollout and related infrastructure initiatives
  • Assist with system upgrades, application rollouts, and environment changes

Operations & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records in ticketing, asset management, and admin systems
  • Follow standardized documentation and checklists for consistency

Support Coverage

  • Provide Tier I & II support across the service portfolio
  • Support internal users, external partners, and vendors

Collaboration

  • Partner with Tier II/III and shared services teams
  • Act as a liaison for escalation and issue resolution

Service Delivery

  • Meet SLAs for response and resolution times
  • Communicate professionally across all channels

Proactive Maintenance

  • Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance
  • Document incidents and contribute to root cause analysis

What You Bring

  • Experience providing Tier I/II IT support in an enterprise or healthcare setting
  • Hands-on experience with device deployments, imaging, or hardware/software troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and asset management tools
  • Strong customer service skills, comfortable supporting clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Ability to work onsite full-time in Concord, CA
  • Experience with Windows OS deployments or migrations a plus
