Corporate Actions Specialist
Financial Services Company
6+ month contract, potential to extend - W2 contract (can not work C2C)
Hybrid schedule, 3x/week onsite in Tempe, AZ
Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm PST
Pay Rate: $20.00-26.00/hr
Requirements:
- Strong client-facing/customer service background with high-volume phone support experience
- Ability to research and resolve discrepancies while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Strong attention to detail when reviewing forms, documentation, and operational transactions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to provide factual guidance without offering financial advice
- Ability to ask for help/support when needed
- Patience, adaptability, and professionalism when supporting advisors and internal partners
- Proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel), Teams, and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Banking/Financial Services industry experience
- Ideally financial call center, operations, brokerage, banking, or securities industry
Desired Skills (not required):
- Call center environment experience
- Previous CXOne experience
- Broker dealer experience in the operations area
Project Details:
- Provide inbound phone support to advisors and internal service teams
- Review and process forms and documentation
- Research and resolve operational issues and discrepancies
- Support proxy shareholder communications and voting preferences
- Process and validate cash and securities transactions
- Review operational reports and exception queues
- Handle dividend-related activity, reversals, reinvestments, and adjustments
- Serve as subject matter expert for proxy communications and reorganization events
