Location: San Diego, California (Hybrid) - this role will begin onsite + then transition to remote.

This position supports membership operations by accurately entering and validating application data submitted through an online portal to determine program eligibility. The role involves performing account maintenance, billing, reconciliation, reporting, and customer service-related activities. Additional responsibilities include providing operational support for various membership-related activities as needed.
- Support membership operations by accurately entering and validating application data.
- Perform account maintenance, billing, reconciliation, and reporting activities.
- Identify, research, and reconcile billing payment amounts to ensure accurate records.
- Set up and maintain member data, including processing enrollments, corrections, and terminations.
- Support eligibility inquiries and ensure bills are correct and mailed in a timely manner.
- Interact with benefit administrators to answer questions and explain policy and contractual provisions.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and delinquencies.
- Assist with training as required.
Experience: A successful customer service track record is required.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in math, data entry, typing, spelling, grammar, and computer use, preferably in a PC Windows-based environment.
HSD/GED obtained.
- A minimum of two years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment.
- Ability to diagnose, analyze, and solve a variety of quantitative and qualitative problems.
- Excellent conflict resolution and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
