- 8-12+ OVERALL Years of Experience with Network Administration/Engineering
- Cloud, Palo, Xtreme and Wireless Knowledge
Job Description
This person will work with the operations side but needs to lead in design and opersation, interaction with architecture and infra teamsSomeone who has solid networking hands on experience. Can also be a mentor of the technical folks.
- Strong Experience in a related role with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise level (Data Center/Campus) network infrastructure
- General Experience managing and completing IT related projects in a mid to large scale network environment
- General Experience and proficiency in network protocols, including TCP/IP, VxLAN, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, ACI, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi protocols
- General Experience and proficiency in configuring, troubleshooting network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and network monitoring systems (Required)
- General Experience with the ability to troubleshoot, and support a wide range of infrastructure technologies including Cisco &, Extreme Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco and Aruba Wireless, Infoblox DNS
- General Experience and strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
- General Experience mentoring/guiding junior network engineer data techs
- General Experience with strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- General Experience working closing with security, infrastructure, and application teams ensuring network strategies aligned with business objectives
