Job Description:
Location: Houston, Texas (Onsite 4 days/week)
This position provides operational and technical support for HR technology platforms, such as SAP and SuccessFactors, to ensure data integrity, system functionality, and effective reporting. The role serves as a contributor within the HRIT team by supporting system maintenance, troubleshooting issues, assisting with projects, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of HR master data within HR systems.
- Perform routine data audits and validations to ensure data quality and compliance.
- Serve as a liaison between HR, IT, and vendors to support HR system operations and issue resolution.
- Support HRIT projects by assisting with requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and implementation activities.
- Analyze business processes and recommend incremental system or workflow improvements.
- Participate in system testing activities for upgrades, enhancements, and patches.
- Provide functional support and basic configuration assistance for HR systems.
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports using reporting tools and dashboards.
- Assist in maintaining HR dashboards and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Perform routine system maintenance activities, including monitoring integrations and resolving errors.
- Research and troubleshoot HR system issues and escalate complex problems as needed.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or a related field is required.
Experience: Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of experience supporting HR systems or HR technology platforms. Experience with HRIS platforms such as SAP or SuccessFactors is preferred. Basic experience with reporting tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau is necessary. Exposure to system testing, data validation, and process documentation is also required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, is required. Familiarity with data structures and basic SQL is a plus.
