We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President / Smart Contract Architect to join our Digital Infrastructure and Software Engineering team. This role is in [Location].

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

You will help design, build, and improve secure, resilient distributed systems and software solutions that support modern financial infrastructure, digital asset platforms, and mission-critical business services.

•Design, build, and support smart contract and distributed application capabilities that enable secure, scalable, and reliable financial services solutions.

•Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of blockchain-based platforms supporting settlement, liquidity management, payments, and tokenized cash solutions.

•Support secure software engineering practices across Solidity/EVM-based systems, backend services, and full-stack delivery environments.

•Partner with engineering teams, product stakeholders, and business leaders to translate complex requirements into production-ready technical solutions.

•Help implement strong engineering controls through security hardening, third-party audit remediation, and standards-aligned software design.

•Develop and support distributed applications, smart contract tooling, and engineering automation capabilities across modern software delivery environments.

•Enable engineering teams through technical leadership, documentation, knowledge-sharing, and practical guidance that improves adoption of best practices.

•Support reliability, troubleshooting, performance improvement, and operational readiness for business-critical systems and platforms.

•Contribute to platform and tooling evaluation to improve developer experience, maintainability, security posture, and long-term scalability.

•Work with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure timely and effective technical execution.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

EDUCATION

•Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

•Research background or additional expertise in secure systems, distributed systems, or applied software engineering is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

•Strong experience in software engineering within high-performing technical teams, with specialization in blockchain systems and smart contract engineering.

•Experience designing and implementing Solidity/EVM-based solutions for institutional finance, settlement, liquidity, and payment platforms.

•Strong familiarity with secure smart contract development, architecture, audit preparation, and remediation of security findings.

•Experience with distributed applications, backend engineering, and full-stack delivery across modern software environments.

•Familiarity with infrastructure and engineering tooling including Go, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Git, and blockchain development frameworks such as Foundry, Hardhat, Truffle, OpenZeppelin, GoQuorum, and Hyperledger Besu.

•Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills across complex technical environments.

•Experience supporting engineering enablement through technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing.

•Exposure to AI-assisted software development, LLM tooling, or developer productivity tooling is an advantage.

•Experience working across remote or cross-functional teams in delivery-focused engineering environments.

•Experience in distributed financial infrastructure, tokenized cash, wholesale settlement, or multi-network transaction platforms is highly desirable.
