Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced QA Analyst to support a digital transformation initiative involving a public-facing web application and its integration with enterprise back-office systems. This role will focus on manual functional testing, integration testing, data validation, and quality assurance activities within an Agile delivery environment.

• Title: QA Analyst
• Duration: 3-Month Contract with potential extension
• Location: Primarily Remote, must be located in Greater Vancouver
• Hours: Full-Time, PST Business Hours
• Start Date: August 2026 (target)

• Execute functional and integration testing across web-based and enterprise applications.
• Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage.
• Develop and maintain test cases and test data.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Perform data validation and end-to-end testing across multiple systems.
• Provide QA status updates and participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to support successful project delivery.

• Proven experience in manual functional and integration testing.
• Experience testing web-based applications.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned testing activities with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with enterprise system integrations.
• Exposure to permitting, land management, or municipal applications.
• Experience with Playwright or TypeScript-based test automation.
• Familiarity with modern AI-powered productivity tools.
