Job Description:
Location: Remote
Target Compensation: $50-60/hour **W2 only
This role is responsible for managing the overall direction of projects from analysis through implementation, impacting areas both within and across business units. The Project Manager will utilize established project management methodology to meet timelines, budget, quality, and resource commitments. The position involves managing single or multiple small projects, coordinating project teams, and ensuring adherence to project deadlines.
- Manage and coordinate project direction from analysis through implementation.
- Serve as project manager for a single project or multiple small projects.
- Actively manage the assembling of the project team, determining project task assignments, and identifying resource requirements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate project activities, and adhere to project deadlines.
- Manage the scope of the project and escalate changes as appropriate.
- Provide regular updates to users and managers on work performed, plans, budget, and overall status.
- Conduct team meetings and communicate updates to the team.
- Design and implement a cost-effective and efficient project organizational structure.
- Constantly search for process improvement opportunities.
- Bachelors degree in a business-related field or equivalent training/experience required.
- 5+Years of experience as a PM for a large, multi-workstream program
- Experience managing print-based projects working with inbound and outbound print (Policy packets, renewal notices, compliance letters, customer forms, claim forms, etc.)
- Strong Jira experience
- Insurance Industry regulatory and compliance-related document experience
- Experience with MS Office and project development/management tools required.
- Understanding of Project Management best practices, attention to detail, flexibility to pivot as needed, strong communication skills and past support of third party vendors.
- Project management, FMLI, ACS 100, or AIAA 200 certifications are preferred.
- Experience interacting effectively with management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in interviewing/negotiation, coordinating and facilitating meetings, planning/organization, and managing multiple priorities.
