Location: St. Louis, Missouri (Remote)

 

Role Overview

This position requires a Program Manager to oversee Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) projects within the healthcare technology sector. The role involves collaborating with executive leaders and technical stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment, managing the program lifecycle, and guiding business partners. The ideal candidate will facilitate program governance, oversee project scope and financials, and lead go-live activities in a dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leaders and technical stakeholders to ensure strategic technological alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Advise and guide business partners and impacted associates during the program life cycle.
  • Coordinate with operational stakeholders on technical roadmap creation and facilitate delivery with internal teams.

*Deliver reporting for leadership and oversee IT evaluation and ranking workflows.

  • Facilitate recurring program governance, including project manager meetings and risk or issue resolution sessions.
  • Own the program-level Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), including oversight of scope, schedule, and financial tracking.
  • Lead go-live activities, including activation planning, readiness assessments, and Go/No-Go decision support.
  • Utilize critical thinking to analyze program challenges and drive effective decisions.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in the management of key strategic projects.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture project management, working with external partners.
  • Experience in the healthcare technology space.
  • PMP, equivalent Project Management Certification, or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience mentoring and overseeing project managers.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and report project data from ServiceNow.
