Senior Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (WMS) Consultant

Job#: 3041826

Job Description:

Remote with Travel (paid)

Project/Role Overview:

Seeking a senior-level Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (WMS) Consultant to support a major warehouse modernization initiative replacing a 30-year-old legacy MMS platform. Blue Yonder has already been implemented across other areas of the business, and this project represents the company’s flagship (“crown jewel”) implementation.

The consultant will review the existing solution, validate the architecture and configuration approach, provide strategic guidance, and serve as the technical expert responsible for configuring and optimizing the Blue Yonder WMS platform. Business requirements and functional specifications will be provided by internal teams, allowing this individual to focus on solution design, configuration, and implementation best practices.

Why is the req open:

Expanding the team to bring in a senior Blue Yonder SME who can validate the current implementation, provide architectural guidance, and perform hands-on configuration for a critical enterprise deployment.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management (WMS) implementation experience
  • Deep expertise configuring and customizing Blue Yonder WMS solutions
  • Experience leading or advising large-scale WMS implementations and deployments
  • Ability to assess existing configurations and recommend best practices and improvements
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution workflows
  • Experience translating business requirements into Blue Yonder WMS configurations
  • Comfortable working alongside business analysts and functional teams who provide requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex configuration and integration issues
  • Strong consulting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Previous experience replacing legacy warehouse management systems is highly preferred

This role is ideal for a senior consultant who can both provide strategic direction and perform the hands-on Blue Yonder WMS configuration work for a high-visibility enterprise transformation.
