Job Description:

Location: Calgary, Alberta (Onsite)

As a Data Center Technician, you will be a primary resolver for the support team. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving complex hardware infrastructure issues. You will also create and maintain documentation on supported technologies and effectively transfer this knowledge to junior staff.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain documentation on supported technologies.
• Pass down knowledge of technologies to junior staff members.
• Perform remote system administration tasks as part of a virtual team.
• Automate tasks with scripts when necessary.
• Work autonomously to resolve most support issues.
• Execute small projects independently and collaborate with management on larger local projects.
• Act as the initial escalation point for junior technicians.
• Understand all aspects of the equipment you support.

Technical Skills: The following qualifications are required for this role.

Experience: Candidates should possess basic to intermediate system administration skills.

• Ability to innovate and make decisions independently.
• Capacity to take direction and pay attention to all details involved.
