Senior Multimedia / AV Project Consultant

12-Month Contract | Hybrid (Lower Mainland, BC)

About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking a Senior Multimedia / Audio Visual Project Consultant to support large-scale infrastructure and facility redevelopment projects. This role combines business analysis, stakeholder engagement, solution design, project leadership, and multimedia technology expertise.

The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert throughout planning, design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover phases, ensuring multimedia solutions align with business and technical requirements.

Contract Details

  • Title: Senior Multimedia / AV Project Consultant
  • Duration: 12-Month Contract
  • Estimated Hours: Approximately 900 Billable Hours
  • Location: Hybrid (Lower Mainland, BC)
  • Onsite Requirement: Increasing onsite presence required as projects progress toward implementation

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions and design workshops.
  • Provide subject matter expertise for Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, and Multimedia technologies.
  • Review designs, specifications, drawings, submittals, and construction documentation.
  • Identify deficiencies and support remediation efforts.
  • Participate in construction reviews, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
  • Lead project activities alongside technical project managers.
  • Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support adoption, transition, and operational handover activities.
  • Provide ongoing project reporting and status updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Project Lead, or similar role on large-scale IT projects.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and advising on solution design.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Experience with project management, change management, and operational transition activities.
  • Basic networking and computer infrastructure knowledge.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and drive work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Audio Visual and Video Conferencing project experience.
  • Voice and Unified Communications experience.
  • VoIP implementation and migration experience.
  • Formal Business Analysis training or certification.
  • Formal Project Management training or certification.
  • Formal Change Management training.
  • Experience supporting healthcare or hospital projects.
