Full Stack Developer

Apex Systems | Supporting a Leading Financial Services Organization

Apex Systems is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to support a large-scale enterprise technology environment. This role will focus on designing, developing, modernizing, and supporting custom applications that improve business operations and deliver innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across the full software development lifecycle and a passion for solving complex business challenges through modern application development.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain custom software solutions
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Build and enhance modern web applications using current development frameworks and technologies
  • Modernize legacy applications and migrate solutions to modern platforms
  • Develop technical designs, workflows, system integrations, and application architecture
  • Support software deployments, testing activities, and production releases
  • Create and maintain technical documentation throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business partners to deliver enterprise solutions
  • Analyze system performance, identify process improvements, and recommend enhancements
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause resolution
  • Participate in solution planning, roadmap development, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Extensive experience developing end-to-end custom software solutions
  • Strong expertise with modern application development technologies including:
    • C#
    • .NET
    • React
    • JavaScript
    • SQL
    • MongoDB
    • MuleSoft
    • Microsoft Azure
  • Experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications and technologies
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and SDLC methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience leading projects, initiatives, or technical teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience working within large enterprise financial services environments
  • Experience with portfolio management and application governance processes
  • Familiarity with large-scale data analysis, reporting, and forecasting methodologies
