Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Newark, Delaware (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior-level Java Full Stack Developer to join the Fraud Technology team. In this role, you will collaborate with product owners and an agile team to design and construct scalable solutions for business initiatives within the fraud domain. The position requires advanced problem-solving skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to communicate effectively. This role is part of a supportive and transparent team environment and also requires the ability to research and resolve issues independently.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable solutions that support business initiatives in the fraud domain.
  • Collaborate with product owners and agile team members to deliver technology solutions.
  • Engage and influence teams across technology and business units.
  • Utilize object-oriented design and programming principles in development.
  • Work with messaging frameworks like Kafka.
  • Implement SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Micro Services.
  • Participate in agile/iterative development and the full software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience are required for this role.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Java/J2EE and Object-Oriented design
  • Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch or Spring Integration
  • ORM/Persistence Frameworks such as iBatis/MyBatis, Hibernate, or JPA


* Messaging frameworks like KAFKA * SOA, REST/SOAP Web Services, Micro Services, JAXWS/JAXRS * Source Control (Bit Bucket) and build tools (Maven) * Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), JUnit, Mockito * IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio * RDBMS and SQL (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server) * Front-end development with JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, Ajax, SASS * RIA Frameworks including jQuery, Angular, YUI, Ext JS, DOJO, or Vue.js

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Cassandra
  • Proficiency with Kafka
  • Experience with MQ
