Software Developer

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado (Onsite)

 
Role Overview

This position is for a Full Stack Developer. The candidate will be a core contributor, building and testing features on web applications. The role involves supporting the development of an internal platform, with a focus on enhancing current features and developing new ones. The position is primarily front-end focused with back-end API integrations.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a variety of full stack projects spanning multiple business units.
  • Build and test features for several web applications to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Participate in stand-ups, team meetings, and writing AI prompts.
 
Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with React and Node.js.
  • 3+ years of professional experience consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • 1+ years of professional experience in back-end development (Python, Node.js, Java, or GoLang).
  • 1+ years of professional experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience using AI coding tools (e.g., AWS Kiro, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini).
 

Technical Skills:

  • Strong background in React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Semantic HTML, CSS, and SCSS styling.
  • Familiarity with React Unit Testing using Jest and either Enzyme or React Testing Library.
  • Knowledge of React state management libraries (Redux, Apollo).
  • Understanding of web development best practices (performance, security, browser APIs).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with automation testing (Cypress, Selenium).
 

General Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, ownership, and ability to execute through to completion.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a logical thought process.
  • Solid understanding of the Agile development life cycle.
 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
