Job Description:
As a key member of the Partnership Accounting team, you will be responsible for providing world class service to the firm's Financial Advisors (FAs). This role will focus on providing education and guidance to Financial Advisors to enable them to make an informed decision about a new partnership opportunity. Through phone calls or scheduled appointments, the Specialist will answer questions about the model, review business plan modeling scenarios and support guidance for the FA regarding compensation, healthcare options, state/federal tax considerations and retirement benefits. Responsibilities: • Support Financial Advisors in providing guidance based on analyses to inform decisions • Leverage accounting and tax knowledge to prepare individual tax returns • Manages multiple tasks and strives for timely follow-up Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree with a focus in accounting, business administration or finance (Able to substitute with certifications related to/for individual tax return preparation) • Experience/certifications for individual tax return preparation • Ability to provide advice and guidance by analyzing the comprehensive details of a situation. • Strong computer skills, including effective use of Microsoft Office applications. • Customer service skills: The ability to interact with others who need assistance by using excellent customer service skills to provide professional, comprehensive, and accurate solutions. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Demonstrates expertise in world class service attributes, including professionalism, reaching agreement and customization, and spirit of caring. • Must be able to respond to callers with appropriate tone, organized thoughts, and confidence. • Must be able to respond to written correspondence in a clear, succinct manner using correct grammar, spelling, and format. • Must be able to multi-task and follow-up appropriately to take issues to resolution. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and quickly learn and apply new information. • Confidentiality: Ability to keep personal information (compensation, benefits, personal considerations, etc.) confidential for each person that you work with to support their needs. • At least 2-3+ years experience with the requirements detailed above
