Job Description:
We are seeking a UX Designer to drive digital product design from concept through to final implementation. The ideal candidate will partner with other designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, technology, and consumer insights, to bring ideas to reality. This role requires a strong attention to detail to guide designs through implementation, ensuring the final product aligns with design specifications.
- Apply a broad range of capabilities to drive digital product design from concept through execution and final implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product management, technology, and consumer insights—to take work from ideation to reality.
- Ensure final product development fully reflects design specifications by applying exceptional attention to detail and craft.
- Apply rigorous design thinking to develop products at the crossroads of the physical and digital worlds.
- Interpret and leverage unique brands and properties to deliver on high guest expectations.
- Reflect evolving design patterns and contribute to progressing standards of excellence.
- Listen to guests and advocate for their perspectives to deliver on their expectations.
- Support the design team in communicating product design recommendations to leadership through sketches, wireframes, design specifications, and prototypes.
Experience: 5-7 years of industry experience as an end-to-end multidisciplinary product designer, with capabilities across interaction and visual design. Experience with premium brands, including e-commerce, hospitality, or food & beverage services is required. A track record for working with cross-functional teams to ship customer-facing digital products is necessary.
Technical Skills: Experience creating products from a user-first design approach and the capability to build interactive prototypes. Must have excellent presentation and communication skills. A portfolio of your most impactful work is required, and a portfolio presentation is expected.
- Experience defining and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform design.
- Experience designing for emerging product experiences, including conversational user interfaces, AR/VR, and interactive 3D environments.
- Motion design and animation skills.
- Understanding of design systems in Figma.
