Contract Duration: 12 Months
We are seeking a Dev / Automation Engineer for the ECP platform. This role involves developing, testing, and deploying automated workflows to support the provisioning of large enterprise Grid/Cloud infrastructure. The position will be responsible for researching and implementing process or technology improvements using Agile/Lean development processes, Continuous Integration/Delivery, automation, and infrastructure design patterns.
- Develop, test, and deploy automated workflows for infrastructure provisioning.
- Research and implement process and technology improvements.
- Design, develop, and test new and existing configuration management (Terraform) infrastructure as code.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like git and Jenkins.
- Drive automation and integration for applications and services built on Azure and AWS platforms.
- Create and maintain complex data-driven automations and queries using SQL and noSQL databases.
- Develop secure technologies with a focus on ACLs and role-based entitlements.
- Develop fault-tolerant solutions with an understanding of horizontal scaling and high availability.
Education: A minimum of a 4-year degree in computer science or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years of infrastructure or software engineering/development experience is required.
Technical Skills:
- Minimum of 4+ years in Python / Ansible.
- Minimum of 4+ years in shell/Bash/Ksh scripting.
- Experience in developing projects using Go lang, XML, XSLT, SOAP, RESTful, and SQL.
- Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with command-line interfaces (CLI), third-party APIs, and integration.
- Experience with Azure/AWS technologies.
- Proficiency in system, network, security, and database operations and protocols.
- Experience with IT core applications like DNS, Active Directory, Kerberos, SMTP, and Apache.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience on technology and infrastructure teams.
- Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration.
- Experience with container technologies such as Kubernetes, Openshift, or Docker.
- Exposure to large enterprise grid deployment and/or Cloud integration.
