SITUATION
Our client needed a partner with Agile expertise to help them migrate 1,450 resources from Waterfall to Agile-based methodology. They wanted to build a ‘fail fast’ model for overall Agile evolution and were seeking a supplier who could provide skilled Agile coaches, scrum masters, and JIRA administrators to coach and teach their teams best practices for transformation. The client engaged us as their strategic partner for this multi-year project because of our extensive Agile transformation experience and deep team of subject matter experts.
SOLUTION
We provided a team of Agile coaches and scrum masters who facilitated workshops, process improvements, role-based training, and incident resolution. After our initial support began and as the team excelled, the engagement expanded into assisting the client with building a full Agile Center of Excellence.
Our team coached client scrum masters, building the skill set and developing internal subject matter experts so our client could continue implementing Agile in-house. Additionally, our Agile coaches lead strategic discussions, presenting to C-level and senior leadership to help determine future direction and implement a cultural mindset shift among leadership.
10x Increase in Tangible Outcomes and Over 60K Tickets Burned Down in Six Weeks
RESULTS
As a result of our support, our client’s project management organization was able to burn down over 60,742 tickets within six weeks and is now leading their Agile Enterprise Transformation efforts. The client initially had 14 Agile teams and accelerated by our coaching and support, have expanded to over 60 Agile teams that are continuing to evolve. Not only has the client met their goal of transforming 1,450 resources from waterfall to Agile, but the implementation of scrum teams has continued to reach across several key client work-streams including cloud migration, real time payments platform, IAM, and others.
