This role serves as an operational subject matter expert for the People (HR) team, covering the Americas region. The position involves providing expert consultation and guidance to managers and employees on a broad range of people matters. The objective is to cultivate a positive work environment through the application of extensive employee relations skills and experience.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for HR operational matters in the Americas region, including the US, Canada, Mexico, and LATAM.
- Provide consultation to managers and employees on complex employee relations issues such as performance management, restructuring, conflict resolution, accommodation requests, and policy interpretation.
- Oversee the resolution of employee-related concerns in a manner that mitigates risk and maintains a fair, safe, and engaging work environment.
- Act as a trusted advisor to People Team leaders and business leaders by leveraging organizational awareness and business acumen.
- Lead and shape HR process efficiencies by identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Conduct workplace investigations related to misconduct and policy violations.
- Manage projects and handle multiple conflicting priorities with a sense of urgency.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in an HR operational excellence role, HR Center of Excellence (COE), or as an HR Business Partner (generalist) in a fast-paced, matrixed environment is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience supporting a technology or transformative environment is required.
