Job Title: Senior Contracts Administrator (Government Contracts)
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: Full-Time (Onsite)
Compensation: $111,000 – $118,000
About the Opportunity
We are partnering with an established defense and national security solutions organization supporting advanced training and simulation programs in the Orlando area. This team plays a critical role in developing and delivering virtual and live training environments used to support mission readiness and operational success.
As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join a small, high-impact team supporting government and defense-related programs.
Position Overview
This is a hands-on, execution-focused contracts role supporting the full contract lifecycle within a government contracting environment.
The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is comfortable owning contract execution responsibilities directly—not just managing or overseeing them.
This role is fully onsite in Orlando and reports into the Contracts Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support the full contract lifecycle for government programs
Assist with and support RFP and RFQ processes
Ensure compliance with:
Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
GSA contracting standards
Maintain contract documentation, tracking, and compliance records
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and program teams to ensure contract alignment
Support contract modifications, updates, and execution activities
Required Qualifications
Experience working in a government or defense contracting environment
Working knowledge of:
FAR / DFAR / GSA regulations (required)
Hands-on experience supporting:
Contract administration
RFP / RFQ processes
Ability to:
Work independently in a high-volume, high-responsibility role
Execute detailed contract work with minimal oversight
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of relevant contracts or contract administration experience
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Experience supporting DOD programs or government prime contractors
