Location: Charlotte, NC (preferred) / Irving (Las Colinas), TX – Hybrid

Contract Length: 12 months

Pay Rate: $69/hr - $74/hr

Role Overview


This organization is seeking a Senior IAM Enablement Lead for a business-facing role ideal for a strong Identity and Access Management (IAM) professional. The position focuses on partnering directly with business teams to drive the adoption of identity services, support onboarding and transitions, resolve complex access issues, and translate user feedback into continuous improvements. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of IAM, cybersecurity, technology, and business operations, ensuring IAM services are practical, adopted, and aligned to business needs.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • *Serve as the primary escalation point for complex IAM issues, leading triage, prioritization, and coordination across teams.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise IAM services by partnering with business teams and supporting onboarding, migrations, and access transitions.
  • Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to confirm IAM solutions meet business requirements.
  • Assess business workflows and access requirements to ensure IAM solutions align with real-world use cases.
  • Act as the voice of the business by gathering and translating user feedback into actionable input for product and engineering teams.
  • Partner with IAM product owners to influence feature enhancements and backlog prioritization.
  • Apply IAM security principles, including least privilege and zero trust, to solution design.
Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive information security experience with a strong focus on identity and access management.
  • Proven experience supporting IAM onboarding, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working in cloud and hybrid environments, including Azure, GCP, and on-premises Active Directory.
  • Demonstrated experience in business engagement, stakeholder management, and driving adoption of enterprise technology solutions.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience applying enterprise IAM capabilities, including authentication, identity governance, privileged access management, MFA, and directory services.
  • Strong understanding of IAM security principles, processes, and best practices, including least privilege and zero trust.

 

Business & Communication Skills:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and simplify complexity.
  • Proven leadership in engaging business and technical stakeholders to drive adoption and resolve complex access challenges.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large financial services or other regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools and product-driven environments (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
