Job Description:
Location: remote
This position is responsible for designing, building, and evolving a centralized Project Intelligence Platform. The role serves as the connection between project execution teams and leadership, translating complex project data into actionable dashboards and reports to drive decision-making. The analyst will own the development and management of Power BI dashboards and Smartsheet-based platforms, integrating data from various enterprise systems.
- Design, build, and publish Power BI dashboards and reports for real-time visibility into enterprise projects.
- Develop Smartsheet workspaces, reports, and automated workflows for project tracking and resource allocation.
- Configure and maintain automated data connections between Power BI, Smartsheet, and enterprise systems like SAP, ServiceNow, and Procore.
- Develop and manage a centralized enterprise project tracker covering construction, real estate, and technology deployments.
- Build and maintain data refresh schedules to ensure dashboards reflect current information with minimal manual intervention.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Power BI and Smartsheet, providing training and user documentation.
- Partner with IT and Enterprise Data teams to ensure data governance, access controls, and source-of-truth alignment.
- Develop and maintain standardized due diligence frameworks and tools to evaluate new site opportunities.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is required. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience: 5 to 8 years of related work experience is required. This includes 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports, and over 2 years of experience building and managing Smartsheet solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Power BI, including DAX measures and complex data models.
- Experience with Smartsheet, including cross-sheet formulas and automated workflows.
- Demonstrated experience connecting reporting tools to enterprise systems via APIs, ODBC/OData connectors, or ETL pipelines.
- Strong SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Experience developing both manual data entry frameworks and automated system integrations.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification (PL-300).
- Smartsheet Certified User or System Admin certification.
- Specific experience integrating with SAP, ServiceNow, or Procore.
- Familiarity with Power Automate, Power Apps, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or Databricks.
- A background in real estate, facilities management, or capital construction.
This role operates in a remote or hybrid environment with frequent interaction across remote project teams. It is a high-volume, deadline-driven environment requiring the ability to manage and prioritize multiple reporting deliverables. The position involves regular interaction with senior leadership and requires strong communication skills to gather requirements from non-technical stakeholders.
