Position: Organizational Change Management Specialist
Location: 1 Ashburton Place, Boston, MA 02108 (Hybrid, more details below)
Duration: 6 months (with Possibility of extension)
Rate: $70-$72/hour
- Assess the current progress of Training, Communications, Readiness, and Support workstreams to ensure alignment with the overall program roadmap.
- Identify adoption risks, performance gaps, and potential roadblocks; develop and implement mitigation strategies to support a successful rollout.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency leadership and key stakeholders to ensure engagement and project readiness.
- Oversee the development and finalization of key preparation materials, including readiness assessments and post-implementation support models.
- Lead and coordinate four cross-functional teams (state and vendor resources), ensuring alignment with PMO timelines and weekly deliverables.
- Provide consistent progress reporting to program leadership and maintain detailed documentation to support continuity and governance.
- Serve as a strategic bridge between current operations and future-state program goals, ensuring seamless transition into the next phase.
- Proven ability to quickly integrate into complex, fast-paced project environments and establish credibility with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodologies, specifically in readiness assessments and alignment strategies.
- Experience identifying risks and gaps in large-scale program execution and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to balance reactive, time-sensitive issues with proactive, long-term planning.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across both technical and business audiences.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Hybrid Work Model
CTR operates under a hybrid work model; under this policy, employees are required to work a minimum of four business days per month on-site at CTR’s Boston office and may work remotely the remainder of the time at a location approved by their supervisor, so long as they comply with the requirements of the telework policy.
The BEST Program team is in the office on the second and fourth Tuesday every month; the two additional in-office days are flexible and determined by the employee and their manager. Under this policy, all employees must be able to report to the Boston office with little or no notice, even including the same workday should an exigent circumstance arise. Therefore, a reasonable proximity to the office is necessary. CTR does not reimburse for employees to travel to the office.
