Role: Documentation Specialist – TPRM & Vendor Management
Supporting: Large Financial Services Client
Location: Winchester, VA - Hybrid
Assignment Type: Contract
Duration: ~ 6 Months
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Documentation Specialist to support third-party risk and vendor management processes. This role is ideal for someone who excels at translating complex workflows into clear, actionable documentation while partnering with stakeholders to improve efficiency, compliance, and consistency. Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze, document, and enhance workflows to improve efficiency and alignment across teams
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input, identify gaps, and standardize processes
• Develop high-quality documentation including SOPs, process flows, work instructions, and knowledge guides
• Review existing standards and frameworks to build comprehensive procedural documentation
• Manage and publish materials in SharePoint for easy stakeholder access
• Support training materials and information sessions to drive adoption of new processes
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory updates related to vendor management and third-party risk
• Assist in aligning documentation with risk frameworks and performance metrics
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience in process documentation, workflow analysis, and process improvement
• Strong knowledge of contract management, vendor relations, and third-party risk management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Experience with process mapping tools and SharePoint
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Copilot, and related tools
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
Preferred:
• Experience in HR Finance, Vendor Management, or related functions
• Familiarity with compliance standards and regulatory requirements in vendor management

Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $30.00 and $46.00 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
