Location: Austin, Texas (Onsite)
Our organization is seeking a Process Engineer to assess current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and overall experience. This role will partner with business leaders to redesign processes for AI-enabled and automation-supported execution, playing a key part in our operational transformation.
- Assess current business processes, workflows, handoffs, and pain points across functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, cycle time, and customer or employee experience.
- Partner with business leaders to redesign processes for AI-enabled and automation-supported execution.
- Document future-state workflows, operating procedures, controls, and business rules.
- Define process metrics and success measures to track adoption and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with data, technology, and AI teams to ensure process design aligns with implementation requirements.
- Support pilot execution, change management, and rollout planning for new ways of working.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather requirements and build alignment.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or engineering discipline is required.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years in process improvement, business process design, operations excellence, or transformation roles is required. Experience supporting digital transformation, shared services, or enterprise workflow redesign is also necessary.
Skills: Candidates must have analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to map and evaluate workflows. The role requires experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to convert business problems into structured process requirements. Strong communication, facilitation skills, and the ability to create clear process documentation are essential.
- Familiarity with automation, AI-enabled workflows, BPM, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Exposure to AI-assisted process automation, document processing, or decision-support workflows.
- Executive presence and credibility with management teams.
