Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid)
Our organization is seeking a Process Improvement Analyst to support a high-volume Accounts Payable organization. This role will analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive operational improvements across onshore and offshore teams. The position will focus on process documentation, workflow analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives within AP operations.
- Analyze and document end-to-end Accounts Payable workflows and operational processes.
- Identify bottlenecks, duplicate work, ownership gaps, and process inefficiencies.
- Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and supporting documentation using Visio.
- Partner with business stakeholders to standardize processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Facilitate discussions with operational teams to understand pain points and recommend solutions.
- Evaluate workflow and case management processes across ServiceNow, Coupa, and related systems.
- Support process improvements related to invoice processing, supplier onboarding, and AP operations.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in Process Improvement, Business Analysis, Operations Analysis, Continuous Improvement, or a similar role. Experience analyzing and documenting business processes in a transactional or operations-focused environment is required.
Technical Skills:
- ServiceNow experience with case management workflows and operational processes.
- Coupa experience with an understanding of invoice and procure-to-pay workflows.
- Strong process mapping and workflow documentation experience using Microsoft Visio.
Professional Skills:
- Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand data flows and connect upstream and downstream impacts across processes.
- Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Shared Services operations experience.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP.
- Experience with supplier onboarding, invoice processing, or procurement operations.
- Familiarity with Symbeo or other AP automation platforms.
- Experience supporting Finance, Payroll, HR Operations, or other high-volume transactional environments.
