IT Clinical Engagement Specialist III NE

Job#: 3037600

Job Description:

IT Clinical Engagement Specialist III NE

Location: Phoenix, Arizona (Partial Remote - Onsite during testing events)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Test Facilitator to support quality assurance activities for a major revenue-focused initiative. This role is centered on coordinating and supporting large-scale, onsite testing events rather than extensive test scenario creation. The position involves organizing and facilitating test events across cross-functional teams, including Revenue, Clinical, Billing, and Coding, while ensuring test cases are managed effectively within the designated test management tool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and coordinate onsite testing events for large groups of subject matter experts.
  • Support the execution of a high volume of test cases during designated test cycles.
  • Utilize the AQM/APM test management tool to upload, manage, and execute test scenarios, and log defects.
  • Triage issues in real-time during testing events, guiding users on issue classification (e.g., defect vs. script error).
  • Manage and track defects post-event, partnering with analysts to drive resolution.
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to ensure testing is organized and runs smoothly in high-pressure environments.
  • Uphold quality control standards for all test materials and events.
  • Develop and present test event kick-off and closure reports.
Required Qualifications

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and testing environments.
  • Experience facilitating large testing groups and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Technical Skills:

  • End-user experience with Application Quality Management (AQM) or similar test management tools, including executing scenarios and logging defects.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and leadership presence.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and de-escalate conflict.
  • Developed interpersonal and critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize needs rapidly.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Health revenue cycle solutions.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or clinical workflows, such as patient registration, acute care, or ambulatory processes.
  • Direct experience with clinical application testing.
  • Experience creating test sets within AQM.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field or a related business discipline.
  • A license for a clinical position or certification in a clinical healthcare setting.
Work Environment

This position requires a hybrid work schedule. During testing events, onsite work is required (Mon-Fri between 8 to 5). Between testing events/while working remote, the workload is approximately 20 hours per week but could increase to 30-40 hours per week depending on experience. The successful candidate will work with a team of approximately five to six members onsite during test events.
