Job Title: Change Implementation Consultant 2 / Merchant Services Implementation Consultant
Location: Chandler, AZ (preferred) / Charlotte, NC / West Des Moines, IA – Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite)
Contract Length: 12mo (likely extension; potential conversion)
Pay Rate: $30 - $37 (OT40)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (local time; occasional OT possible)
- 2+ years of Merchant Services experience within banking
- 2+ years of client-facing implementation or account management experience
- 2+ years of Change Implementation or project delivery experience
- Experience with payment solutions (issuing, acquiring, gateway platforms)
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with Sales, Relationship Management, or Treasury Management teams
- PMP or Certified Payments Professional (CPP) certification
- Strong communication and training facilitation experience
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements within Change Implementation. Review and analyze basic or tactical Change Implementation assignments or challenges requiring evaluation of alternatives related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. Present recommendations for resolving moderately complex situations while exercising independent judgment. Provide information to client personnel in Change Implementation.
- Manage client-facing implementation projects for Merchant Services solutions (E-Bill Express, Payment Gateway, etc.)
- Establish timelines, track milestones, and ensure successful project delivery
- Apply project management methodologies to drive consistent execution
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients during implementation
- Collaborate with Sales, Relationship Management, and internal teams
- Provide implementation updates, escalate risks, and manage expectations
- Deliver training to clients and internal partners on solutions and processes
- Provide guidance on system usage and implementation workflows
- Support onboarding and adoption of payment solutions
- Identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies
- Document status, risks, and issues according to procedures
- Escalate challenges to leadership and partners when needed
- Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes and client experience
- Gather feedback from clients and internal stakeholders to refine workflows
- Support ongoing strategic and operational initiatives
