Job Description:
Location: Lake Mary, Florida (Onsite Hybrid Schedule)
W2 contract only (no corp to corp or visa sponsorship can be provided)
Pay: 70-75/hr
We are seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust applications using Java, Angular, and AI technologies. A significant aspect of this position involves leveraging AI code generation tools for development, contributing to both new and existing projects within our enterprise data and solutions engineering environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
- Utilize AI code generation tools, such as CoPilot, Windsurf, or Claude, for a significant portion of coding tasks.
- Develop and manage data pipelines and data engineering solutions.
- Own solution design, establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and perform performance tuning.
- Integrate AI capabilities into application workflows, including prompt orchestration and RAG.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and deployment strategies using platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Design resilient data access patterns and perform data-access performance tuning.
Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Java and Java-based frameworks, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
- Hands-on experience with Angular.
- Prior experience with AI code generating tools (e.g., CoPilot, Windsurf, Cursor, Claude) in a professional or private setting.
- Proficiency in scripting, SQL, and transaction management.
- Database experience with Oracle, Sybase, or DB2.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD automation on container platforms like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Snowflake is a plus.
- Experience with stored procedures is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Airflow, Autosys, or Control-M.
This role requires an onsite presence four days per week in Lake Mary, FL. The position is structured with the goal of becoming a permanent hire. The interview process will include live coding exercises.
