Supply Chain PMO – Project Manager
Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Project Managers to support a large-scale Supply Chain transformation initiative focused on modernizing distribution operations across transportation and warehousing domains.

This is a high-visibility, multi-year program designed to improve operational performance, increase delivery speed, and strengthen execution discipline across cross-functional teams.

The Project Manager will operate within a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment, responsible for driving end-to-end execution, ensuring alignment across stakeholders, and maintaining clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes.

Program Context
  • Enterprise initiative focused on transportation, warehousing, order prioritization, and customer visibility
  • Emphasis on improving delivery timelines, execution consistency, and operational efficiency
  • Work executed through cross-functional “pod” structures aligned to specific supply chain workstreams
  • Operates within a structured governance model requiring strong coordination, transparency, and accountability
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Execution
  • Lead end-to-end project execution across assigned supply chain workstreams
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, including milestones, dependencies, and sequencing of activities
  • Ensure alignment of scope, timelines, and deliverables with business priorities
  • Drive execution discipline and accountability across teams to meet delivery objectives
Stakeholder Management & Alignment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact across business, operations, and technology stakeholders
  • Drive alignment on priorities, scope, timelines, and expected outcomes
  • Facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and ensure clear decision-making across stakeholders
  • Provide executive-level communication and updates
Governance, Reporting & Visibility
  • Maintain and manage program artifacts, including:
    • Integrated project plans
    • RAID logs (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies)
    • Status reports and dashboards
  • Deliver clear, consistent status reporting on progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones
  • Support governance forums, including steering committees and stakeholder reviews
  • Ensure transparency and accuracy of reporting across workstreams
Financial & Performance Management
  • Track and manage project financials, including budget, forecast, and resource utilization
  • Provide visibility into timeline health, delivery performance, and execution risks
  • Monitor progress against KPIs and delivery milestones
  • Identify variances and drive corrective actions as needed
Risk & Dependency Management
  • Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to mitigate risks and resolve blockers
  • Escalate issues appropriately through defined governance channels
  • Ensure dependencies are clearly understood and managed across teams
Required Experience & Skills
Core Capabilities
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management within complex, enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects end-to-end
  • Strong experience operating in fast-paced, high-accountability delivery environments
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution and deliver measurable outcomes
Delivery & Performance Management
  • Experience with:
    • Project planning, scheduling, and execution tracking
    • Delivery performance metrics and reporting
    • Executive-level communication and status reporting
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Dependency management and cross-functional coordination
    • Risk identification and mitigation strategies
Financial Management
  • Experience managing:
    • Project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
    • Resource planning and utilization
  • Ability to provide financial transparency and reporting across initiatives
Platform Knowledge
  • Experience with Planview or similar PPM tools preferred
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
Domain Experience (Preferred)

Experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution environments, including:

  • Warehouse and transportation operations
  • Inventory and logistics performance metrics (e.g., OTIF, fill rate, inventory turns)
  • Order fulfillment and delivery optimization
  • Process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Work Location & Onsite Requirements
  • The selected resource is required to work on-site at the designated office location a minimum of two (2) days per week, in alignment with the hours outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • The resource must adhere to core working hours as defined by the hiring manager.
  • If an on-site day is missed (excluding approved medical reasons), the resource is expected to make up the missed day on-site within the same work period, as coordinated with the manager.
