Job Description:
Location: Groveport, Ohio (On-site)
This position will lead all operations for a campus of nearly 200,000 square feet of production space. The role is responsible for building, developing, and leading a high-performing operations team while driving accountability across all site activities. The Site Director establishes and executes production strategies, sets performance targets, and ensures disciplined execution to meet or exceed operational goals. In partnership with internal stakeholders, this leader directs and optimizes all operational workflows to maximize throughput, efficiency, and quality.
- Achieve warehouse operational objectives by implementing strategic plans, identifying and resolving problems, measuring and auditing quality standards, and identifying trends.
- Oversee ITAD-specific processing workflows including server de-racking, data erasure, component sorting, equipment refurbishment, and downstream recycling.
- Manage recruiting, selection, onboarding, and training programs for employee staffing to ensure competencies are aligned with roles and duties.
- Drive continuous improvement of inventory accuracy by implementing and managing an inventory control system and taking corrective actions.
- Maintain responsibility for site P&L performance and improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and improve operational systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, evaluating policies and procedures, and maximizing equipment and manpower utilization.
- Manage the implementation and achievement of internal and customer KPIs and SLAs.
- Accomplish department objectives by communicating job expectations, monitoring job results, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with staffing agency partners to maintain optimal headcount across multiple shifts.
- Uphold all ISO, OSHA, and R2 standards applicable to the outlined responsibilities.
Experience: 7+ years of progressive operations or warehouse management experience, with at least 2 years in a site leadership or director-level role. Prior experience in the ITAD industry is strongly preferred. Experience managing multi-shift operations with headcounts of 90–140+ employees across multiple buildings is required.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience managing P&L, staffing, and multi-functional operations teams. Strong knowledge of inventory control systems, warehouse management platforms, and operational KPIs. Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, and R2 compliance standards.
