Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Onsite)
We are seeking a Senior Developer & AI Innovation Lead to support a key project initiative. This role involves modernizing legacy tools and processes from end-to-end, including architecture, data layer, user experience, and deployment. The position requires a self-directed individual who can take ownership of a problem space, define the roadmap, and execute with minimal direction while working with the Global Planning team.
- Apply AI/ML in a product or business context to create solutions that users depend on.
- Take a legacy tool or process and modernize it end-to-end, covering architecture, data layer, UX, and deployment.
- Design and build data-intensive applications, working with large, structured datasets, aggregation logic, and multi-dimensional planning grids.
- Lead workshops, demos, and whiteboard sessions with non-technical planners.
- Translate requirements between technical and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
Experience: 5+ years of software development experience is required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least two of the following is required: Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, or cloud-native frameworks. Candidates must have demonstrated experience applying AI/ML in a product or business context and experience designing and building data-intensive applications.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills are necessary to translate between technical and business stakeholders. The role requires a self-directed mindset with the ability to take ownership, define a roadmap, and execute with minimal direction.
