Enterprise Project Manager III

Location: Remote, United States

 
Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager III to manage large-scale projects or multiple, concurrent projects from inception through project close-out. This role leads teams to ensure project objectives align with business strategy and are achieved on schedule and within budget. The Project Manager III will apply formal project management methodology to oversee all aspects of the project, including estimates, plans, schedules, and milestones, while proactively managing risks and resources.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the production of project estimates and develop project plans and schedules.
  • Establish measures and milestones, and track ongoing progress.
  • Proactively manage project risks, issues, scope, and human resources.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely deliverables within budgetary constraints.
  • Assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, and provide guidance and direction.
  • Prepare and present project plans and status reports to leadership, teams, and stakeholders.
  • Define, collect, and analyze metrics to ensure projects remain on target.
  • Mentor and develop project management skills in other project managers.
  • Stay current on new project management methodologies.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Experience: 5 years of progressive project management experience, including a leadership role in executing large-scale, concurrent projects (greater than $1 million with a team of 10).

 

Technical Skills: Experience using Smartsheet is required. Familiarity with automated project management software tools is also necessary.

 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience in clinical operations, utilization management, care management, or clinical quality.
  • A Certificate in Project Management is strongly preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a strong plus.
Work Environment

Work is primarily performed in a home office environment. Candidates must be willing to work Pacific Time Zone hours and may be required to work outside of normal hours, including weekends. Some travel may be required.
