Location: Indianapolis, Indiana (Onsite)
We are seeking full-time Mortgage Origination Professionals for a position in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will use your background as a Loan Processor, Loan Officer, Underwriter, or other loan origination professional to support customer service functions related to housing programs. This position offers an opportunity to expand your knowledge of mortgage policies and procedures while making a positive impact.
- Provide customer service by answering calls and emails from the lending industry and the public on program guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize knowledge of the mortgage industry to locate answers in a knowledge database to address client requests.
- Follow standard operating procedures for various topics, systems, and contact channels.
- Document all contacts in a database.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage processes and procedures.
- High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- 2+ years of mortgage origination experience (e.g., loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer).
- 1+ years of contact center or telephone customer service experience.
- Proficiency with navigating multiple computer systems, applications, and search tools.
- Effective time management skills and dependability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including telephone etiquette.
- Keyboarding proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) a plus
- Knowledge or background in FHA guidelines desired
- Contact center experience (Omnichannel) preferred
