Location: Sunnyvale, California (Onsite)
COMPENSATION: $60 - $70 HOURLY
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Program Manager to drive silicon development programs. This role requires a self-driven individual with strong communication skills to manage vendors and deliver material for complex builds on schedule. This position will work with cross-functional teams to consolidate internal material requirements and communicate them with vendor partners.
- Manage silicon vendors to deliver material for engineering prototype builds.
- Create engineering build matrix, schedule, and scope, and drive vendor delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering leads to resolve technical, material, and schedule issues.
- Manage scope change requests and drive team decisions.
- Drive communication between internal and external teams, including setting up infrastructure and leading meetings.
- Manage internal and external documentation, including Engineering Requirement Specs and Bill of Materials.
- Track engineering budget spend and ensure alignment with forecasts.
- Work with legal and business teams to ensure proper agreements are in place for new vendors.
- Track wafers as they flow from the foundry through to downstream teams.
- Report on material progress and investigate material blocker issues.
- Act as a key stakeholder in the allocation of material during shortages.
- Assist with PO generation, approvals, and invoice processing.
Education: Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
Experience: Demonstrated leadership skills and experience driving multi-functional teams. Experience managing, prioritizing, and maintaining multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work with overseas vendors across different time zones.
Skills: Critical thinking with an understanding of program details. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to react to changes in a time-sensitive environment. Self-starter who can function with ambiguity. Experience with G Suite tools (Sheet, Docs, Slides, Drive).
- Hardware/Silicon material management experience is a plus.
