Scrum Master (Program Delivery)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite)

Employment Type: Contract

Contract Duration: 12 Months


Role Overview

This position is for a Scrum Master with experience in portfolio-level functions supporting end-to-end oversight and program delivery. The role involves planning, coordinating, and ensuring the delivery of defined deliverables, which requires engagement with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for communicating work objectives, managing risks, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing visibility into the health of deliverables.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate the delivery of defined deliverables and dependencies across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate dependency management, risk management, and impediment removal for assigned deliverables.
  • Coordinate and lead routines to support delivery, such as kick-offs, status reviews, stakeholder meetings, change controls, and tollgates.
  • Ensure execution and delivery meet client expectations regarding functionality, quality, timeline, and cost.
  • Promote and facilitate communication and collaboration across organizations to support deliverable completion.
  • Gather and provide status updates on delivery, risks, issues, and schedules to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ensure deliverables comply with Enterprise Change Management standards and are aligned with sponsor requirements.
  • Support resource planning for delivery and execution.
  • Enact change and continuous improvement by leading teams through release planning and readiness.
  • Develop and document standards while maintaining project communications.
Required Qualifications

Technical Skills: Proficient in JIRA and Confluence, as delivery is tracked across numerous JIRA instances. Additional experience with Project Management, SQL, and Tableau is noted.

 

Experience: Must possess experience in portfolio-level functions, enacting change, and leading teams through release planning. Communication skills are essential, as the role requires interaction across all organizational levels.
